This is a forum where we can share resources and best practices as we prepare to implement the Common Core standards in grades 7-12.
One of the main goals of Common Core is that we produce students who are college and career ready. We will see an emphasis on reading informational text with increasing complexity, evidence based writing, listening and speaking skills, literacy in social studies and science, and conceptual learning with real world applications in math.
